WHAT DOES THE BRIDAL PROCESS LOOK LIKE?

**I am not currently accepting bridal bookings** Hi there! Choosing your vendors for your wedding can be overwhelming. Here's what the process to hiring me as your makeup artist typically will look like:

• Inquire using the inquiry form here. Once this is done, you can expect an email back within 48 hours with a customized estimate for your special day!

• Once you accept the estimate and decide you are ready to book, a paid 30% retainer and signed contract are required. *The bridal trial is a separate service from the wedding day total and contract.

• Congratulations! You are booked with Emmalee Mims Artistry! What now?

• Bridal trials are optional but extremely recommended. I will reach out 3-4 months before your wedding date to schedule a bridal makeup trial, and of course I am available anytime in between to answer any and all of your questions.

• Once your trial is done, we will go over timelines and the week before your wedding you can expect a getting ready timeline and skin prep sheet to share with your bridal party. This can be fine-tuned with your wedding coordinator/planner and your photographer.

• Cheers! It's wedding day! Now that all the planning and coordinating is done- sit back, drink some champagne, and get glammed by Emmalee Mims Artistry!

Whew! What a loaded question- here is what you can expect when hiring Emmalee Mims Artistry :)

• I specialize in makeup! Meaning instead of rushing to complete both makeup & hair, I am solely focused on the details of your perfect makeup application. I am proficient in applying makeup on all skin types and tones in a way that highlights YOU and makes you look your best both in person and on camera. A good makeup artist makes the editing of the photos taken a lot easier on the photographer/retoucher! ;)

• I am a certified makeup artist. My certifications include Makeup Artistry course completion from the accredited Industry Makeup Academy, Barbicide, Barbicide Covid-19, among more. I am dedicated to providing not only a pampering experience to my brides, but also a SAFE experience.

• Having a professional makeup artist service you will benefit you for so many reasons! Makeup is so important in achieving the overall look whether it's a bridal look, ad/commercial shoot, or editorial. It's important to keep in mind this will be captured in photos for forever!

HOW DO I BOOK?

WHAT MAKEUP DO YOU CARRY IN YOUR KIT?

I carry a mixture of trusted brands and pro makeup products in my makeup kit! You can expect to find makeup in my arsenal that caters to ALL skin tones and skin types. Some of the brands I carry are: MAC Cosmetics, RCMA, NARS, Peter Thomas Roth, Makeup Geek, Graftobian, and Urban Decay. You can rest assured that your makeup will be done with products that make you look and feel great both on and off camera. :)

DO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSIT?

I require a 30% non-refundable retainer and a signed contract to hold your appointment(s).
